Our primary focus is on prenatal care - our practitioners are experienced in dealing with the issues that arise during pregnancy
Joining You on the Journey
We understand the changes your body goes through during this exciting time. We want you to have a healthy and happy pregnancy and we will care for you from your first trimester past your 12th month of breastfeeding.
Safe and Healthy Pregnancy
For the women who are seeking care to help prepare their body for labor, a combination of chiropractic, massage, yoga and acupuncture work so well together. When dealing with the common lower back/hip pain and sciatica, chiropractic care and massage are often recommended. Others come to the clinic looking for guidance for an overall healthy pregnancy, for which we can set up a program that utilizes nutrition, acupuncture, chiropractic, yoga, massage and reflexology.
Massage is completely safe in the first trimester. You will have the option to use bolsters which allow you to lie on your tummy or to lie on your side, whichever is more comfortable for you. Positions can change during the treatment to optimize your comfort and we have many options for propping and adjusting the cushions to get you as comfortable as possible.
The combination of Prenatal Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Craniosacral are safe and effective in turning breech babies.
Help With Induction and Labor
We can start labour prep any time after 36 wks. Once you reach 39-40 wks the focus can change on actual induction. At this time, acupuncture is recommended 3 days in a row to maximize its effectiveness. Massage and craniosacral are also great treatments at this time too. Some people like to combine treatments in the last couple of weeks.
HIHF Prenatal Therapies

During a Pregnancy Massage session, the expecting mother’s comfort is the foremost priority. Additional bolstering, blankets, and heat pads may be used to ensure that the client is able to relax and find comfort on the massage table. Usually this means laying on one side or the other, but occasionally a mother will be able to find comfort on either her stomach or her back.
Your safety and comfort are our top priority.
